Lately I have been enjoying shooting a family session combined with a High School Senior session. We get to work while warming up and relaxing by making fun of the parents. The parents get a nice family portrait. Then we kick the siblings out so we can get some good images of just the senior.
This was taken before the paved sections of the Old Highway 30 were converted back to a bike path connecting Hood River to Portland. It is so impressive to see 3-4 inches of moss growing on top of pavement from the old highway 30. When a client was asking for a public space to have a green woodsy elopement this came to mind.

Luke and Tanley had a relaxed party with a large group of good friends. The only down side was that most of us were kayakers who are never on time. I remember running Canyon Creek following Luke’s lines. Now our kids are almost old enough to do these things on their own. It has been some time since the curly blond fro and I worked at Next Adventure. Congratulation Luke and Tanley!

It is always something special to go shoot a wedding at Mike and Jackie’s place. Having been married there myself many I have many fond memories. Having my first dance with Stacey, then returning as a guest several years later to dance with my daughter Bailey in the same spot brings smiles and tears to my face.
